The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost 13 games in a row. Not only is that a team record, it's also the longest losing streak by any team since 1900. They lost 4-3 to the White Sox last night, and even Sox manager Ozzie Guillen didn't seem to know what to make of the losing streak, saying "They have a pretty good young club, at least from what I see.. They're fun to watch. The guys from the bullpen come after you, the kid today (pitcher Paul Maholm) threw it real well, and they have some great talent. They came right after one of the best relievers in the AL, they're not afraid and they play the game right."
Someone help this depressed Bucs fan find the silver lining in all of these clouds, please!
