I went to the Bucs game last night thinking I was gonna see 9 innings. Six hours later the Pirates finally came away with a win in the 18th; what a game that was?

Did anybody else stay up to watch it??

Not very high, Gotham Dark Knight.

I expected the Pirates to hand them a win. But they have been performing well lately. I am glad to see that the Pirates' bullpen held up well.

Didn't the Astros encounter another 18+ inning game during the Playoffs last year?

It seems as if the Astros can't go down hard these days.

Pittsburgh has been better lately, but there was no place to go but up. However, as the Cubbies fall down the well, the Pirates may very well pass them as they try to climb out.

Ah - 2 games for the price of 1. I remember those. I think they used to call them "doubleheaders."

They still have "doubleheaders" if a game is rained out the day before. But those occurances are rare.
