| SS Wilson placed on 15-day DL  Pirates placed shortstop Jack Wilson on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 4, with a strained left calf. This is the first DL stint of Wilson's career. The Pirates called up Brian Bixler, who will get most of the starts at shortstop until Wilson returns in a couple of weeks. Jack Wilson      |
