| Pirates vs. Marlins Florida takes Game 1 of their series against the Bucs, 5-4. Mike Jacobs had a walk-off homer for the Marlins in the 9th, off Franquelis Osoria. The bullpen bites us again. Matt Morris wasn't much better. four runs and eight hits in five innings. Mike Jacobs homers leading off 9th and Florida Marlins beat Pittsburgh Pirates 5-4 - MLB - Yahoo! Sports

Ian Snell fanned 10 batters in six innings and Nate McLouth had three hits, scored three runs and drove in a pair to lead the way.
