Accoring to the Associated Press, "Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez, last year's NL batting champion, will sit out the final five games of the season because of a shoulder injury that will require arthroscopic surgery on Friday... The procedure will essentially repair a separated shoulder and is not expected to set back his offseason conditioning program. The shoulder is expected to be normal within six to eight weeks."
No biggie. We're done anyway, so it's best to get Sanchez right and try again in '08.
