Pittsburgh: Will they finish last?

As it stands this morning, the Pittsburgh Pirates are percentage points ahead of the Houston Astros record-wise, keeping the Bucs out of the NL Central division cellar. When all's said and done, though, will the Pirates finish in last place, or will it be Houston?

Re: Pittsburgh: Will they finish last?

Looks like the answer to that question is yes.

The Bucs have lost 7 straight games and, at 66-88, are in the cellar, two games behind the Astros.

Lefty, how many wins did you expect coming into the season?

70 is a realistic goal at this point.

Well, I'm always optimistic (blindly so).

Every year I like to come in thinking we're good enough to be at least .500. And every year, I come away disappointed.

C'est la vie, I suppose.
