As we're already discussing elsewhere, Jack Wilson is being shopped.
The Blue Jays are interested, but reportedly rejected a Wilson for Troy Glaus offer pitched by the Bucs.

In addition, the Red Sox have inquired about RP Salomon Torres.

I heard on the radio that he may the player to be named later in the Istruiz deal

The Pirates had told reliever Shawn Chacon they would let him know by this week if they would agree to his request to negotiate a contract extension, but he still had not heard from them as of yesterday. Given that apparent lack of urgency on the team's part, as well as the time necessary to discuss the multiyear contract that would be needed to keep Chacon from entering free agency after the season, it is increasingly likely that the Pirates will try to trade Chacon by Major League Baseball's Tuesday deadline. -- Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

Looks like there may not be a big fire sale in Pittsburgh after all this year. According to MLB.com, "The Pirates are more likely to make moves this winter rather than before the deadline. With only two players heading into free agency and not much interest in shortstop Jack Wilson at present, odds are the Pirates won't do anything else before the deadline." Still, I expect Wilson and perhaps Chacon and Torres to go.
