The Pirates were swept by the Braves over the weekend. As if we needed any further proof that we stink. According to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, "The offense that powered them to nine wins in the 13 games leading up to the break has vanished. It was missing again Sunday, as the Atlanta Braves rolled to a 5-1 victory to complete a series sweep." The Post-Gazette called the Bucs hitting "abysmal" as well. Here's hoping things turn around with the Rockies coming to town.

hold on to ian snell, that dudes good, speaking of braves since laroche left atl and came to pitts hes been in a funk, dude hit 30+ hr the year before you think hes just still new or what, I hate that hes been struggling..laroche is a good guy..

Don't know, really. Part of it could be that he doesn't have much of a lineup hitting around him, either.
