The starters have been fine - well, good enough, at least. Its the pen that's killing us. Grabow and Gonzalez more or less blew that one. I didn't get to see the game last night. On the Dunn single, did the ball really hit the ground, or was it a catch?

The ball hit the ground. The umps got it right but very rarely do you see a call reversed unless it a question about a home run.

Great, the Bucs are 0-5 after losing 7-6 to the Reds yesterday. Their off to their worst start in 32 years. Maholm looked bad. He gave up five hits, five runs, and walked five in 6.0 innings. His control was awful. And yet, we almost pulled it off in the 9th.

...and Snell looked just as bad the night before. The starting pitching is doing a so-so job at this point, and the pen has been a joke.

Perez needs to come up big today, and get the Bucs their first win!
