| Pirates win back-to-back series Before the Bucs open their series against the Seattle Mariners tonight, I though I should mention that, last week, Pittsburgh won consecutive series for the first time this season. We took 2-of-3 from both the Rangers and White Sox. "(Winning two consecutive series) is big-time for us," closer Matt Capps told reporters. "It's something for us to build on and hopefully turn things around and carry that momentum onto the road." Here's hoping he's right!
