Tough night for Pirates P Tom Gorzelanny, as he fell to 6-4 with a 6-0 loss to the Texas Rangers last night. According to the Associated Press, "Entering the seventh, Gorzelanny had an impressive line: Two runs and four hits with one walk. But [Gerald] Laird hit a three-run homer to break the game open, scoring Michael Young and Marlon Byrd." The kid's a good pitcher; it's a shame to see him get knocked around like this.
