| Pittsburgh Pirates @ St. Louis Cardinals After seeing two of their games against the Giants get rained out, the Pirates head to St. Louis to take on Albert Pujols and the Cardinals. Pujols homered twice yesterday and had his best game of the year so far, which is definitely cause for concern. Ian Snell (0-1, 2.08 ERA) will start for the Bucs while Anthony Reyes (0-1, 5.40 ERA) goes for the Cards. Pujols, for the record, is 6-of-9 with four homers and 7 RBI lifetime against Snell. Nice move, Tracy.

Yeah, and? Somebody's got to keep this forum active, and kk9 says he's busy with school. |

| Re: Pittsburgh Pirates @ St. Louis Cardinals Hey, alright! Pujols goes 0-4 and the Pirates beat St. Louis, 3-2. As the AP says, "Ian Snell threw seven innings of three-hit ball and Xavier Nady had two RBIs to help the Pirates snap a four-game losing streak." Torres picked up the save. Today, Gorzelanny (1-0, 1.50 ERA) goes for the Bucs against Wainwright (1-0, 1.98 ERA) for the Cards. Here's hoping we can make it back-to-back wins! |

| Re: Pittsburgh Pirates @ St. Louis Cardinals I know they are a divisional rival, but I root for them to win as long as they are not playing the Reds. Heck, I could be a Pirates fan if they would have won the first game I ever saw. As it is I have a soft spot for them. Last edited by azrael492 : 04-17-2007 at 11:15 AM.
