Re: Pirates @ Reds April 6-8

Tough loss last night. Jeff Conine of all people had a three-run homer and a triple, and Matt Belisle retired 14 in a row at one point for the win. The weather was cold (36 degrees) and out bats were colder - only four hits in the game, and a big fat 0-4 for Jason Bay. Hopefully we'll get 'em tonight.

Re: Pirates @ Reds April 6-8

At least we were able to avoid the sweep yesterday. Sanchez had two hits and an RBI in his first game of the season, and Bay, Wilson and Eldred all homered in a 6-3 victory. Duke gets the win and Torres notches his four save of the season. Today is the home opener against the Cards.
