I'll tell you what. This could be the strength of the team. I think that the Bucs have the best trio of combined lefty relievers in the game. Mike Gonzales, Damasso Marte, and John Grabow are terrific. The right side is very good also with Roberto Hernandez, Solomon Torres, and Vogelsong or Santos, and Carrara.

That is a very good bullpen on paper, we'll see how they all come together once the season starts. Who is projected to be the new closer?

I remember all of last season, there was talk the Bucs were listening to offers for Mike Gonzales but never pulled the trigger on a deal. They could definitely deal from their strength in some regard and perhaps add a power bat.

Gonzo will start the season as the closer. The Bucs got Roberto Hernandez for insurance. If the starters can go six plus innings then the Bucs are going to be tough out of the bullpen. Keep that bullpen fresh and you really got something with these guys.

The Bucs will definitely have one of the best bullpens in the National League if they can stay healthy. The three big lefties should help the Bucs close games down this season.
