Toronto Star today has Andrew murstein interested in the penguins now. He's a NY taxi licence backer. He wants to move them to Houston if the new arena doesn't get built. Murstein has also been interested previously in the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee brewers, Kansas city Wizards, San Antonio Spurs and the Ducks.
Talk about a drag for fans, watching the mystery as it slowly proceeds to June 2007. Will we have a team or not? Where will it be if we don't (Houston, KC). In mario's town, no less.

Im very confident that the congressman backed casino will be built and the funds will go to buying the Pens a new arena as promised. Mellon arena is packed every game so their not the Whalers guys. All they need is a new building because their current one is falling apart literally. I mean if the Pens leave all Pittsburgh will have is the Steelers (I dont count baseball as a sport and apparently judging by attendance neither does Pittsburgh). Thats not fair. Pittsburgh will be another geographic anamoly like Green Bay.
