[Gotham Dark Knight]

When it is all said and done, will Sid the Kid Crosby be as good/ or better as Mario Lemieux? Arguably Mario is a top 5 all-time list player who battled through a ton of injuires...and will it depend on the number of Cups he wins?

Due to the injuries that plagued poor Mario's career... Sid has an edge, but an ideal Mario vs and ideal Sid is lopsided towards Mario, i mean, the guy scored off a face-off! Because of a dare!

Different players altogether...Ovechkin is a winger...it's like comparing Bobby Hull to Gretzky and saying Hull is better because of his speed or powerful slap shot etc.

Plus Ovechkin scores with not much help. Crosby needs scorers.

Because Orr was the best ever...a defender who could score with the best in the league...

See, that's the point, Crosby needs scorers because he looks to pass...it's just a different game than Ovechkin plays...not worse...just different...can't say that a player that scores on his own, is worth more to a team than one who gets his whole team involved in the game...
