Fleury's back

Marc-Andre Fleury won his first start since returning from his ankle injury, and Kris Letang scored the game winner in the shootout as the Penguins beat the Thrashers, 3-2. “I was a little nervous in overtime, but we still played good and it was fun to get the win,” Fleury told reporters after the game. “It was good to get that first game behind me.” One down, Crosby, Hossa and Roberts to go!

Letang wins it for Pens in OT, 3-2, as Thrashers lose 7th straight - NHL - Yahoo! Sports

Re: Fleury's back

And thrashers on a bad bad skid there. Hossa must be smiling. Even though he wasn't playing.

Re: Fleury's back

Malkin got his fourth point in 2 games and leads the league with 88.
Each of the last 3 home games for the penguins have gone into OT.

Re: Fleury's back

Where would we be if it wasn't for Malkin? I shudder to think about it. Team MVP for sure this year.

Re: Fleury's back

Malkin is playing some kind of hockey. Glad to see Fleury is back, cause I don't know if Conklin is still playing as well.

Re: Fleury's back

Pens will have to see how Fluery plays in order to decide between him and Conklin. My guess is Conklin stays in because he looks like a total elite goalie for sure.
Malkin is awesome though, his second year in the NHL and he leads with points. Amazing.

Well, at goalie, I guess that's a good problem to have. Both have been solid.
