Sidney Crosby of the Penguins was injured during yesterday's game against Tampa Bay.

According to the Associated Press, "Crosby was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain, an injury to the large ligament that connects the two biggest bones in the lower leg, the tibia and fibula. The injury is more serious than the traditional twisted ankle and can sideline an athlete for a month or more. Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury has been out since Dec. 6 with the same injury." Given how long Fleury's been out, this is most definitely NOT good news.

how do you feel, as a penguins fan, when Crosby is injured and possibly on the IR for 3 weeks or more? do you have faith in the team still, or does Crosby rule?

Well, Malkin is still enjoying a decent season, I wonder if his production will go down with Sid out...

I have always like Gary Roberts, but probably cause he is a relic from the 80''s...

And Laraque is a big boy...the guy weighs in at over 240 lbs!...

Well, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Crosby returned to full practice yesterday, so there's some good news.
