Three teens, first time ever on roster:
Jordan Staal, Kristopher letang and you know who that guy Sidney Crosby is.
Add malkin, who just turned 20 a few months back, and this team is brimming over with youth.
Chances are, Staal could still go down to OHL and continue to play with the Peterborough Petes (hello peterborough). But with malkin out with his dislocated shoulder, Staal has a chance to stay for a bit.
Jordan's brother Eric is playing for the hurricanes, maybe you''ve heard of him, and other brother Marc - a Ranger - was sent down yesterday.
Defenceman Letang and Staal can show up in at the most 9 NHL games before their contracts kick in.
Also, Fleury will be one of three Penguin goalies - along with Thibault and Dany sabourin (we like to call them The French Trois).

Here's hoping these guys pay off. I love it when a team stocks up on youth - hopefully they're all signed long-term. Crosby is fantastic and Malkin will be good, I think. What about Staal and Letang? These guys any good?

My dad (who was seasons tickets to the Petes) has been raving about Jordan Staal for years now. About two years ago he said to me "Watch for Jordan Staal, he's just like his brother Eric... only better."
