Panthers struggle, but stay unbeaten

The game started late - and, for the second time in four days, so did top-ranked Pittsburgh. Tyrell Biggs was Pitt's leading scorer the first time in his career with 16 points, and the Panthers struggled early for the second time in as many games since reaching No. 1 before pulling away to beat South Florida 75-62 on Wednesday night. "Teams are going to play us tough," said point guard Levance Fields, who had 11 points and 13 assists. "Everybody expects us to win by 20 or 30 points, but the (Big East) conference just isn't like that.
