Pitt vs. Connecticut

Oddly enough, it is the UConn Huskies and not the Pitt Panthers coming into this game undefeated. Connecticut is 3-0 while Pittsburgh had their hopes for a 3-0 start dashed by Michigan State on Saturday. Still, I like the Panthers in this one. Keep an eye on RB LeSean McCoy - he's averaging 115-plus yards per game, and should run wild against the Huskies defense. What do you think?

Tough loss to the Huskies, 34-14 - Pitt's third loss to UConn in four seasons. Panthers committed six turnovers in this one. Ugly, ugly loss.

My oh my, how we have fallen

How are we going to get things back in order? Is it the recruiting? The off campus stadium? Bad coaching?

I'll tell you what, I don't know what the feeling is on campus in Pittsburgh, but from day one I thought Wannstedt was a dumb hire, and I think he's proving me right. Now granted, losing your starting QB is a big blow, but as much as I didn't like Walt Harris, it seems like the team played better under him.
