| Surprised! Grant Hill Is Injured That has to be the least surprising headline you read all season, right? If so, Grant Hill's reputation may unfairly precede him -- last night's game against the Pacers was the first that he's missed all year. And besides, his current ailment is the very definition of "fluke injury." From the Arizona Republic: Hill arrived for the team's morning shootaround Wednesday and felt ill. He thought it was the flu, particularly because guard Raja Bell had the flu last week. Because Hill did not have flu symptoms, Suns head athletic trainer Aaron Nelson sent Hill to the hospital, where a CT scan of his abdomen revealed an early stage of appendicitis. After putting his feet up for a week or so, Hill will presumably begin limited work in practice before returning to the court in about 2-3 weeks. If it had to happen, it's fortunate it happened now: the Suns face a team that's currently over .500 just three times over the next 11 games. Boris Diaw will move into the starting lineup and Marcus Banks will be bumped up into the rotation. Surprised! Grant Hill Is Injured - FanHouse - AOL Sports Blog |

only Griffey will make the real one no problem...but Hill is a heck of a nice guy...he lived here in town and most people that now him will say he is a class guy...he deserves better...I remember his dad Calvin getting hurt a lot as a Cowboy...especially in the 1973 Playoff game...maybe he inherit it.

| Re: Surprised! Grant Hill Is Injured His appendix was the only thing he hadn't injured. The difference between Hill and Griffey is that Hill wanted to be on the court. I always doubted griffey's commitment to baseball. |
