Nash is a good one no doubt and has the hardware to show for it, but is he the best Sun's guard ever? Better than Paul Westpaul, Dennis Johnson, Connie Hawkins, Kevin Johnson, Hornacek and Majerle?

I like Nash, Goth, but man... KJ was something else. DJ was great too, but mostly as a Celtic. I'd have to go with Kevin Johnson.

nah, barkley, marjle, and others on that squad were just as good if not better than the team today..

Give me Small Paul any day over those mentioned, including Nash. Incredible athlete and extremely overlooked. Red Auerbach's biggest mistake was losing him from the Celtics.

Paul Westphal was their best:



Nash 2nd. KJ probably 3rd.

DJ didn't have his best years on Phoenix. Majerle and the rest were good but not in the class of the three guys above.

Also, Connie Hawkins was 6'8" and a forward - not a guard.

Steve Nash for me is the best guard to ever play for the suns because he has good bball fundamentals to his pinpoint passing and excellent shooting. He makes the game more fun and fast pace for fans.

Yes of course, through televised games. I do play and love the game so much that i can more or less assess the ability of each player as well as team chemistry, although i don't consider myself an expert.

Right up there with nash would be jason kidd, though he has been experiencing quite a slump now, but he can make any average player score with his abilities.
