| Steve Nash injured Phoenix Suns G Steve Nash was injured in yesterday's game against the Denver Nuggets. Nash didn't play in the second half after hurting his right shoulder. No word yet as to whether or not he'll miss any time with the injury, but Nash told reporters "I thought it was best to come out... It hurts when I'm moving it."

| Suns Might Have to Shoulder Load if Nash Is Out PHOENIX(AP) Steve Nash might sit out Friday's game against Atlanta because of a sore right shoulder, although he and Suns coach Mike D'Antoni believe the injury poses no long-term problems. The league's two-time defending MVP did not practice Thursday and was noncommittal on whether he would go against the Hawks. "I think we'd probably want to err on the side of caution at this point,'' Nash said. "I've already missed a game and a half. I'd rather miss another one rather than injuring it further and missing more games, so we've got to be careful when we assess it tomorrow night and make sure we're comfortable with it.'' The near-constant spasms that he had experienced in recent days have subsided, he said. "I'm just trying to treat my shoulder and get the inflammation down,'' Nash said. "It's a little swollen on the joint. It shouldn't be too long I'm sure.'' Suns Might Have to Shoulder Load if Nash Is Out |

| Re: Steve Nash injured I think that answers that. They did beat Denver without Nash playing the second half. It took overtime to beat the horrible trail blazers and then they lost to Atlanta by 9 points. And for that reason Steve Nash is they MVP. |

| Re: Steve Nash injured AP is reporting that Nash is going to miss the All-Star Game. Nash pulls out of All-Star game with shoulder injury: "Steve Nash withdrew from Sunday's All-Star game because of lingering inflammation in his right shoulder... The decision means Nash will have had two weeks to rest and treat the shoulder before the Suns play their first post-All Star contest Feb. 20 against the Clippers in Los Angeles." |

| Nash Practices, May Return Tuesday Night PHOENIX, Feb. 19 (AP) -- After testing his sore right shoulder in practice on Monday, Phoenix point guard Steve Nash said he hopes to return to the lineup when the Suns visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday night. "I didn't feel any setbacks, and hopefully if it feels good tomorrow morning and again tomorrow night, I'll give it a shot,'' Nash said Monday. Nash said the shoulder isn't as strong or flexible as he'd like. But he doesn't believe he's risking a longer-term injury by playing Tuesday night. "I'm definitely not where I want to be,'' he said. "But the shoulder's improved a lot and it's gotten stronger. The irritation's gone away. So I feel like I'm not at a point where I'm going to face any more setbacks. Even though I'm not where I want to be, I think that I'll continue to strengthen from here on out and progress rather than have a stop-and-start situation.''
