I went out today for my shirt and hat, and nothing but med and sm left.

Not too good for 6' and 198.

Guess I'll have to order mine on line.

The store that was open last night told me the line was about 1/4 mile long at 2 am when they closed, and just about that long at 5am when they opened back up.

this is hilarious. after the game got delayed and suspended, i really think that the whole hype on the world series died. Last night i didnt even ehar any news on it while watching the news after the Lakers game. LOL, i had to ask somebody this morning who won. NOBODY CARES ABOUT BASEBALL.

Congrats to the Phillies and their long suffering fans! I was 16 when the Phillies last won, and I was a big Mike Schmidt fan so rooted for those old Phils. I work nights now so missed most of this world series, apparently it was pretty exciting last night with both teams getting a run each in the 6th and 7th innings. Glad to see Phils get the win!

I was not alive the last time the Phills won the series, and was only 10 when they went in '93. However I remember that series vividly, both in a positive and negative light (I was a huge Mitch Williams fan!).

I've always missed the Phighting Phills of the early 90's... but can regretlessly let go of that now!

I was lucky enough to be 13 when they won in 1980, and unlucky enough to have to watch em lose in 83 and 93, but this one still feels great!

And I think they are in shape to contend for years to come, unlike 83 and 93!

I wish it was spring right now, so they could get to work on winning another!

(and so we wouldn't have to deal with 20 degree temps! I hate winter!)
