Re: Howard hits No. 28 as Phils stop Jays

Our potential MVP candidate, Ryan Howard, doesn't seem to slow down. He has been consistent knocking the balls over the outfield fence. That lands him a spot in the MVP candidate list and also the 2006 Homerun Derby. When do you think he will slow down his pace, if he ever does? On pace he will finish up as if he was Sammy Sosa, Barry Bonds and Mark McGuire (circa 1997-2001).

All I can tell you about Howard is he went 2 for 14 with seven strikeouts and no RBI against the Red Sox at Fenway.

Those aren't great numbers. But then again, he was playing the Boston Red Sox! The "Boston Bash Brothers" are unstoppable this season. I can hardly wait to see them go bat to bat in the 2006 Homerun Derby.
