They should just start no later than 5 eastern.
You can't satisfy everyone, but I would prefer to see the end vs the beginning, and that is also what the West coast would end up with if you just start at 8:05. A half hour can make a big difference.
I'm not greedy. I would just like a game to be over around 11.
It's not like this is a trouble free concept either. Folks that work 2nd shift jobs are shafted as well. Whether the shift is 11-8, 2-10, or 3-11, none of the ideas works for them.
Very few are true 9-5 folks anymore, and with the traffic in big cities, folks are listening on the radio, or on comps in the office anyway.
In spite of all that, I just say pregame starts at 7:15, first pitch at 8:05, over by 11 most of the time for a nine inning game.
Most of the country could live with that, just one of the four time zones would be out of it a bit.
Hey, at least it's a plan.
