Well, looking to close out a Tampa Bay curse, the Phils got the jump on this World series with a 3-2 win.

There was nothing easy about last night, and I see that as a sign of things to come.

Oh, and the Phils reached Jimmy Rollins goal of 100 wins last night for the season. I"m sure that isn't what he had in mind, but it's 100 anyway!

And you'd be wrong. Last night convinced me more than ever the Phils can win this series.

If they just manage to come through a bit more with RISP, this series is there for the taking.

Waaaaaaaaaay too much looking at called third strikes.

Anyone that thinks the Phils will contiue to bat 2-22 with RISP didn't watch the regular season much.

And the Rays were not the best road team out there, and Philly sure is gonna be tough to play in.

Moyer is going to be on a very short leash on Saturday night. Blanton will have to pitch a good game as well. Then there is game 5, which Hamels has to, and will win.

The Phils wasted a good effort by Myers last night, and he/they will make up for that in a game 6, and that will be the Series clincher for the Phils.

Phils in 6 folks, and this area will be watching a Parade down Broad Street!
