Great to see him come through for the team! I think he needs that. Sometimes I believe the fans get him down on himself.

I have always liked him. Although he has not had quite had the career people thought he was going to have. He does have the power but never really has hit for the high avg liked he did in college. That and the nagging little injuries have, I think, kept him from being really great. Think he likes it in Philly as the fans are coming ard to him after all these years. Similar to Schmidt... fans hated him because they never thought he was trying hard enough... now they look back and realize just how great he was. Philly fans admire hard work and over-achievers.... Burrell is a hard worker and it has finally brought people ard to his side.
