Chase Utley played in his first game tonight since breaking his hand a month ago and what a performance he had. In a game against the Mets, Utley had three hits (including a solo home run) in a 9-2 victory.

Tad Iguchi and Pat Met Killer Burrell hit two home runs of their own in the blowout. JD Durbin lasted six and a third innings and had a career high six strikeouts.

Not to mention, Charlie Manuel got tossed in the very first inning. I didn't see the game so I wonder if that had any effect (good/bad/indifferent) on his squad.

All I know, Chase Utley is back.

Gotta say I was happy with tonights game, but it is a long series. Chases return is well timed. I think his return will help the Phils win this series, and am still hopeful they can pull out at least a wild card!

Dang it...left him out of my GTG lineup...glad to see the boy is back and hitting...he was having a killer season before he left.
