Staff ace Cole Hamels will miss at least his next start, scheduled for Wednesday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and likely a second start with a strained elbow." J.D. Durbin will fill in for Hamels on Wednesday. Huge blow for the Phillies, especially this late in the season, eh?

Let's wait and see what is wrong with him first. Missing 2 starts does suck but if he just needs a rest then that is something we can deal with. If it is more then that we will jump off that bridge when we get to it. It does suck that it will be starts agst LA and the Mutts... wish it could have been FLA or Wash. Remember this is the most he has ever pitched before. You have to expect some tiredness and soreness in his arm.
