| Phillies acquire Tadahito Iguchi Wow, did this one ever come out of left field! The Phillies yesterday acquired Tadahito Iguchi from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for minor league pitcher Michael Dubee. Iguchi will now start at second in place of the injured Chase Utley. What happens to him, though, once Utley's healthy?

| Re: Phillies acquire Tadahito Iguchi If Utley can play at all, I think that puts Iguchi on the bench. He is just a fill in because they feel they have a chance. He will be traded in the off season. |

| Re: Phillies acquire Tadahito Iguchi I'm sure they will trade hm, but at least we will have a decent fill in. He is not Chase, but he isn't Nunez either! And it will make our bench stronger when Chase comes back. Now, how about fixing the pitching Mr Gillick! |
