| Garcia's season over According to Philly.com, "Freddy Garcia's season is probably over. His Phillies career likely is, too... An MRI exam on Garcia's right shoulder yesterday at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital revealed 'some pathology' of the labrum and 'fraying' of the rotator cuff, the team announced late in last night's 3-0 win over the White Sox at Citizens Bank Park." Garcia is seeking out a second opinion, but things aren't looking good for him. How badly does this hurt the Phillies?

| Re: Garcia's season over Will this finally get Brett Myers back into the rotation? I thought they were only putting him there for a while to showcase Lieber. They could really use him now. |

 Re: Garcia's season over Myers will stay the closer and they will continue to look for help in the minors. Rotation now will be Hamels, Moyer, Eaton, Lieber and a minor leaguer. Myers anchors the bullpen with Gordon.  |
