| Howard homers twice vs. Braves
Big day today for the Phillies' Ryan Howard, who is finally starting to put injuries and a cool start behind him. According to the Associated Press, "Howard was 3-for-4 with a pair of two-run homers, Greg Dobbs added another two-run shot and the Phillies crushed the Atlanta Braves 13-6 on Sunday to complete their first sweep of the season... Howard and Dobbs hit two-run homers in the first before the Phillies put the game away with seven runs in the fifth. Howard, who returned from the disabled list at the start of the series and was hitting .200 at the start of the game, added another two-run homer in the eighth." So is the defending NL MVP's slump finally over? |
