Red face Turning point??

Down 6-2 in the 8th and they come back against the best team in the NL, this year at least. Huge win last nite! A comeback win like this could be what they need to kickstart them. Burrell has been hitting the ball again and surprisingly ,to me, so has Rowand.

Re: Turning point??

They have the potential, it's all about consistancy. Can they keep it up?

Re: Turning point??

I'd love to see the Phils win another World Series...but first things first. If they get consistent pitching we could see a baseball postseason in the City of Brotherly Love.

Red face Re: Turning point??

2 in a row agst the Brewers. Myers blows his first save but Ruiz saves him. Hamels goes today and a win puts them at .500 for the first time all season.

Re: Turning point??

I watched baseball tonight and watched some phils highlights. Hamels has some promise...perfect through 6.

Also on the show, ex-phillie John Kruk sold-out Pat Burrell as a "robotic hitter."

Re: Turning point??

Never liked Kruk... too much of a joker, he never seemed to played seriously.

2 big wins agst the Mutts and Hamels pitches tonite. A win puts us 5 games back as we go to KC.

Re: Turning point??

The Phillies are surging, and they're only 5 games out of the Wild Card! If Howard gets hot, this team will be a force to be reckoned with during the second half.

Cool Re: Turning point??

Little early for wild card but they are 5 back of the Mutts for 1st place in the east. Burrell comes through with a clutch HR off Wagner in the 9th. We get KC now while NY goes to Detriot, time to make up some more ground. Phils started slow but are playing well now and with the injury bug hitting the Mutts now is the time
