Bad news, Phillies fans. Looks like Ryan Howard's banged-up. According to the AP, "The reigning NL MVP hurt himself running out a fielder's choice grounder in the 10th inning Wednesday night, but stayed in for the rest of Philadelphia's 5-4 loss in 13 innings. Howard went 0-for-5 Wednesday to drop his average to .213 for the season... The Phillies listed him as day-to-day, saying he sprained the ligament that connects the tibia to the fibia just below the knee."

I know. it was a monster shot. When it left the bat it looked like a routine popfly to CF, but it kept carrying.

It is unfortunate that he is stuck on one of the worst teams in baseball, as of the current standings. Ryan Howard is a sensational athlete with unbelievable power, capable of sending balls flying 710 ft. from the plate.

Worst team??? Please we are 20 games into the season. Phils, unfortunately, are notoriously slow starters but have a 3 game winning streak with Washington and Fla coming up.
