Stadium Seating

Hey Phillies Fans,

I live out in the mid-West, and haven't been to a Phillies game in more than 12 years! I'll be back east in May and I want to attend a day game. Unfortunately, my doc says I am not supposed to be in the sun too long. Can somebody out there give me a suggestion about seating - which is the best side of the field to sit on to avoid the sun for a 1pm game?

Thanks!

Re: Stadium Seating

Welcome to GTG. I've never been at Citizens Bank...but looking at the map of the place, I'd think one of the Pavilion levels would be best. Everything else is either on the field or the terrace's above.

Again, I'm not 100% certain though.

Has anyone here been at Citizens Bank?

Re: Stadium Seating

I'm not sure either, and I've been a few times.

You may not get to be that picky though, most games are pretty packed, and this year the tickets are really selling! If you don't want the sun, you might want to just try to do a Sat night game!

The only way I got good tickets this year was to buy a six game plan. Once the single game tickets went on sale, the choice spots were pretty much gone.

Re: Stadium Seating

I have season tickets so trust me to stay out of the sun you want to be onthe 3rd base side and down the left field line. Try for seats in rows 30 and higher. Also behind HP is gd. If you can not find seats thru the Phils then go to Stubhub.com. A little pricey but they always have seats.
