Well this should be interesting, seems that whenever the players say even the little things, they get turned around and into whatever the writers want. It's spring training afterall. But this is kinda funny. After the talk from Jimmy Rollins last year, then David Wrights response recently, this is what Myers told reporters this week:

"I hate the Mets, I want to beat them more than anyone else. What we need to do is make sure none of their fans get in our building. We shouldn't sell tickets to Mets fans."


I'd think most people will go with the Mets and Phil's as being the top teams in the NL East. It should be interesting to see if it's a close race or more like last year.

And that is how I would want the Phils players to feel about any and all opponents!!! Maybe not hate, but I want them to have the fire to want to win every game! I can't wait for the season to start!

I hate the Mets too. I really hope the Phils play with that fire all year. If they miss the playoffs by 2 games again, I am going to have a fit.

Same here. I bought my "MVP Six Pack" of tickets for this year! My first game is Apr 15th! I just can't wait for the games to start!

Exactly!...Hey if a rivalry and fans for the rival fill the sits, any owner would be happy.
