It's right around the corner! Let's wake up this place! I'm new here and ready to babble baseball! I just hope spring training brings a thaw to the area!

Any Phillies fans as jacked up as I am about the upcoming season?

how's the team look this year ?

They are improved, but the team still has some holes! They should be a contender for the division, and that would be a big deal here! I grew up with the Phillies of the late 70's, early 80's, and it is just sad how this team has been for most of the last 20 years! I'm hopeful they can start another run, and get those holes filled up here over the next couple of seasons and make a real run at the World Series!

Maybe, but the Phils started in 1883 and have won one World Series! At least it was in my lifetime! And they went in 1983 and 1993! It hasn't been all bad. And I was lucky enough to see the whole career if Mike Schmidt, arguably the best Phillie to put on the uniform! Hence my Screen name!
