It's hard to compare them. Jeter is not the best fielding SS out there, he has limited range which is fading fast. He does not have a cannon for an arm. But he is still a great hitter and he does everything you want from a leader that makes everyone around him that much better. Rollins is a better fielder with a better arm. He has more speed then Jeter, although Jeter is one of the best base runners out there. Watch him sometime going from 1st to 3rd, or on the tag up. Very smart guy. Rollins has more natural ability but his head is not all there. Rollins also has more power. However I don't think Rollins should be hitting lead-off for the Phils... he should be hitting 6th. The difference between the 2 all comes down to their attitude and approach to the game. In that aspect, Jeter wins, but Rollins is the better athlete and certainly the better fielder. Maybe we can put Jeter's brain in Rollins body.
