Flyers trade for Calder

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The Philadelphia Flyers acquired left wing Kyle Calder from the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday for center Michal Handzus. The 27-year-old Calder had 26 goals and 33 assists in 79 regular-season games for Chicago last season, leading the team in goals, assists, points and game-winning goals.

So how much is this move going to help the Flyers? They were already 1st in their Division. Is this a case of the strong getting stronger?

Re: Flyers trade for Calder

I think it's good - shake it up. calder's a decent acquisition. Handzus and the hair were tired.
Chicago will miss calder. poor blackhawks, man. What's going on with them?

Maybe they need a logo change...when all else fails, change the logo...
