The Flyers had two hat tricks yesterday. Impressive feat, but why'd it have to be against my Pens?

Umberger made the fans' wait much shorter for another one... Lupul notched a hat trick and had six points, and Umberger added three goals and five points to snap Philadelphia's five-game winless skid at home and lift the Flyers to an 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night."

I have never seen that - 2 hat tricks in one game for the same team - I don't know if i've seen it one for one team and one for the other.
That's exciting.

By the way, that was the fifth time the Flyers had gotten two hat tricks in one game!

And what is it with the Pens coach?? Crying about the Flyers sending out their number one PP unit when it was 7-2. The Pens drubbed the Flyers last year, and no one here whined about it, not even the coach. We just wanted our team to get better.

I'd like to hand him the virtual crying towell now. Consider it done.

Dude, this is the pros. If you're team's getting their asses handed to them, man up, don't cry about it!

Whew! Glad you took it well. I hope this ends up a great rivalry! The Flyers were so bad last year, I almost couldn't watch em!

I'm looking forward to january 20th!!!

My fiance and her Mom went to Pittsburg last year! They went for the Bob Seger concert, and caught a Pens/Flyers game up there. The Pens whooped up on them. I think "The Kid" even scored a hat trick that night!

They said the arena was great, and so were the fans!

Yeah, I'm a fan, but I can admit when my team's in the wrong. I hate it when professional athletes whine about running up the score.

Definitely can't wait for the rematch. I have the feeling there's gonna be some bad blood between these two.

I'm sure there will be. I hope they keep it going, and keep it clean. The Flyers need to play the game the right way the rest of the year. I don't want any more cheap shots, but I do want to see them play physical hockey, and play hard every night.
