Gagne Has Two Small Hernias

Flyers forward Simon Gagne has two small hernias in his right groin and could face surgery.
Asked before Philadelphia’s game at the Washington Capitals on Tuesday whether an operation is likely, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren said: “I can’t really say for sure. We need to sit down and talk with Simon. … It is an option, yeah.”
