| Re: Todd Pinkston trade rumors ESPN.com is reporting that the Eagles, who recently acquired Donte Stallworth from the Saints, have given WR Todd Pinkston permission to see a trade. According to this article by Bob Brookover of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles aren't happy with his progress.
"Though he has often felt the wrath of unhappy Eagles fans who don't feel he is tough enough, Pinkston's biggest asset in the past has been his ability to catch the deep ball. He has averaged 15.3 yards per catch in his career," Brookover writes. "If Pinkston is indeed gone, it will likely open the door for several other wide receivers to make the team. Greg Lewis, Hank Baskett, Jason Avant and either Jabar Gaffney or Darnerien McCants will likely join Brown and Stallworth to make up the Eagles' opening-day receiving corps."
Should the Eagles trade Pinkston? Aren't they too think at WR? |
