| Re: Philly tops CBS Sportsline's list of improving teams Here's what CBS Sportsline's Clark Judge says about the Philadelphia Eagles in his recent article on the teams that should improve in 2006: "This is why I like the Eagles: Because Andy Reid cleared the locker room of land mines and because the backbone of this team -- the defense -- has a pass rush again. This is why others don't like them: Because Owens is gone, leaving a vacuum at wide receiver, and because their running game is -- how should we put this? -- questionable... McNabb is the key here. The quarterback seems himself again -- which means he seems like he was pre-T.O.-- and that's good for the balanced attack Reid promises to operate. McNabb can run; he can throw; he can throw on the run. He's Philadelphia's most dangerous weapon, and I look for a big season from him... I believe in this team because I believe in Reid's system. It worked once, twice, three, four, five times ... it will work again." What do you think of his assessment? |
