''They asked me to come back and be a part of these three days,'' said Jeff Garcia, the 36-year-old quarterback who joined the Eagles in March as a free agent-signee and is expected to be Donovan McNabb's primary backup during the upcoming season. ''I think it's important for me because I'm not around [Philadelphia] much in the offseason.

Nice to have Garcia as a backup...the guy has 13 years of playing experience (counting 5 years in the CFL)...which begs the question, why are CFL quarterbacks not signed more often?

Hmm... that's a good question. Outside of Moon, Flutie and Garcia, I can't think of any other NFL QBs who have had CFL experience. And last time I checked, those three were pretty good. So why HAVEN'T there been more?
