The Philadelphia Eagles will play on Thanksgiving for the first time in nearly two decades when they host Arizona in Week 13 of the 2008 season.The Eagles, who have not hosted a Thanksgiving game since 1940, will meet the Cardinals at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving night, one of five prime time games Philadelphia will play in the upcoming season.

why does philly get 5 primetime games next year, when the seahawks only get three. these are not the eagles who made it to the nfc championship game an insane 4 times in a row, and to the superbowl the last of those 4 years. the seahawks are a superbowl caliber team that deserves more national television time

Well we didnt make it to the nfc game 4x in a row, but i like to beleive we should have. We play on thanksgiving also duck, against the cowboys. Everyone will be watching that game anyways

You put teams on prime time that people will watch or are very good. While the Eagles are not the best, people do watch them. Look at the Cowgirls... love 'em or hate 'em people watch them.
