Eagles vs Cowboys

this week we have the Eagles vs the Cowboys

seems most would think this would be an easy win for Dallas ...... but the Pats are still the best in the league and Philly gave them all they could handle ....... should be a very interesting game

Re: Eagles vs Cowboys

Eagles win the game, 10-6, to snap the Cowboys 7-game winning streak.

According to the Associated Press, "The bottom line is that Philadelphia ( 6-8 ) ended a three-game losing streak, kept alive hopes of snagging a wild-card playoff berth and avenged a nationally televised blowout loss to Dallas six weeks ago... Dallas had its fewest yards of the season (240) and didn't score a touchdown for the first time since November 2004. It was the Cowboys' second straight lousy outing."

Re: Eagles vs Cowboys

Westbrook gets my vote for Sportsman of the Year, taking a knee at the one rather than scoring, putting his team before his personal stats.

Not only was it classy, it was a heads-up move as well. Running out the clock was far more important than getting the score there.

guess you didnt see my post just before yours

Westbrook also stated as you see him turn around at the goal-line .. he looked back and saw Runyan running towards himagain reminding him to go down

please dont get me wrong .... i love a great story as much as anyone else ..... but i also love accurate stories

Re: Eagles vs Cowboys

And you tell me how many guys would have done that, no matter who told them to do it. And then tell me how many would have then said it wasn't their idea.

I personally would have scored...come contract time...they tend to bring up stats etc...and not remember guys taking a knee at the one...

Re: Eagles vs Cowboys

Eagles were afraid the Cowboys might resurrect themselves. They wanted that win--bad.
