Post Donovan McNabb: Hero or Villian?

Donovan vs. T.O.

"McNabb chokes in huddle."

Donovan vs. Garcia.

"Another year, another injury."

Donovan vs. Kolb.

The City Of Brotherly Love's formerly most beloved football brother was once the toast of the town. For years he was seen as the man to lead them to the promised land of the Super Bowl. Two years ago he did just that.

But since losing that game to the Patriots, what in the world has happened to this man? For a guy with no arrest record, a guy as opposite Pacman Jones as Ms. Pac-Man, he's certainly found his name in the role of villain. The Eagles quarterback has been a mainstay in the world of controversy in recent years. How in the heck did a city's unadulterated love turn to scapegoat headlines and mud-slinging?

Re: Donovan McNabb: Hero or Villian?

What is the general feeling among Eagles fans? Is he still a beloved QB or is he, in fact, now the villian as this article suggests?

More than likely this is the media doing its thing. I think he's still the beloved quarterback. I never thought of him as a villain in those things. He was just on the other side.

I'd sure like to hear from Eagles' fans on this though.
