Smith, Feeley named Eagles surprise players Who will surprise in 2007?
L.J. Smith, TE: Smith had a disappointing season in '06, catching just 50 balls for 612 yards and five touchdowns, numbers most owners figured would be much higher going into his second full season as the starter in Philly. He ended up with just three games all season with more than 60 yards receiving, but that number should go up significantly with McNabb back for a full campaign. Look for about 65-70 receptions this season and anywhere from 750-900 yards.
A.J. Feeley, QB: McNabb's missed at least six games in three of the past five years. I'm not saying it's going to happen again, but he ain't getting any younger, either. Quarterbacks do well in this system, so Feeley should be able to put up some good numbers if, and when, McNabb goes down again.
